Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaksin Yodsuwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ein Stein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ein Stein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thaksin Yodsuwan!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein connects with an inside leg kick.
Stein slips a jab and a cross from Yodsuwan.
Stein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yodsuwan throws out the jab.
Yodsuwan scores with a three punch combo!
Stein has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Stein lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yodsuwans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Yodsuwan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stein.

Yodsuwan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Stein is trying to maintain a safe position but Yodsuwan gets an underhook and turns Stein into the cage.
Yodsuwan lands a left hand.

Stein lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Yodsuwan backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stein is trying to pull guard but Yodsuwan has him pressed against the cage.

Yodsuwan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Stein will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Yodsuwan up against the cage.

Yodsuwan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stein lands a nice hook to Yodsuwan's body. Yodsuwan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Stein throws a looping overhand right but Yodsuwan ducks down to avoid it.
Thaksin Yodsuwan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yodsuwan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ein Stein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stein lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stein shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yodsuwan defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ein Stein. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Stein bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stein is looking to take a break and control but Yodsuwan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yodsuwan wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yodsuwan keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ein Stein will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stein attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Stein dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yodsuwan. That did some damage!

Stein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yodsuwan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stein somewhat.

Yodsuwan throws a jab but it's blocked by Stein.

Yodsuwan throws a low kick but Stein moves out of range easily.

and Stein counters with a single leg into guard. Yodsuwan didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yodsuwan has momentary wrist control but Stein slips an elbow through the middle.

Stein doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Stein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yodsuwan was well out of range. Poor timing from Stein.

Yodsuwan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Yodsuwan wants to get back to his feet but Stein drags him back down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stein goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Yodsuwan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Stein's guard! Nice work there by Yodsuwan!
Stein is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Yodsuwan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stein sees it coming and avoids it easily.

so Stein counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stein loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Yodsuwan wants to stand but Stein is controlling the position.
Yodsuwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stein. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ein Stein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stein seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yodsuwan for as long as he can get away with.

Well Stein has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
