Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gino Haley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Martyshev!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martyshev shoots in for a double leg but Haley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Martyshev is looking to clinch.
Martyshev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Haley shoots in looking for a takedown. Martyshev tries to sprawl out of it but Haley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Martyshev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Martyshev throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Martyshev is in Haley's guard.
Martyshev stands up and waves to Haley to follow him.
Martyshev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Haley swivels and escapes.
Martyshev looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Martyshev lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haley circles away quickly and effectively.

Martyshev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Haley, pushing him back against the cage.
Haley gets control of Martyshev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Haley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Martyshev wants to pass the guard but Haley is keeping the position.
Martyshev's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Martyshev drops back, looking for a kneebar! Haley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Haley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Haley!

Martyshev is looking to regain half guard here but Haley keeps moving and retains side control.
Martyshev is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Martyshev has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Haley is working away from the top position though.
Haley throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Haley stands and steps away. Martyshev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Leonid Martyshev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martyshev tries to clinch but Haley is having none of it.

Martyshev has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Haley's face.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Martyshev jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Haley manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Oh Haley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Haley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Martyshev lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Haley!
Martyshev swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Haley is now in Martyshev's guard. A big mistake from Martyshev there, giving up the dominant position!
Martyshev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Haley defends it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Martyshev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Leonid Martyshev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Martyshev shoots in for a takedown but Haley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Martyshev throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Haley counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Martyshev is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Martyshev closes the distance and clinches up with Haley, looking for a takedown. Martyshev pushes Haley against the cage but Haley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Haley tries to clinch but Martyshev moves out of range.

Haley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Haley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Martyshev takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Martyshev shoots in but Haley avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gino Haley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leonid Martyshev.

and Haley counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Martyshev dives in for a single leg takedown but Haley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Haley stalling in the clinch but Martyshev improves position.
Haley is pushing Martyshev up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Martyshev is working for takedown but Haley is calmly controlling the position for now.

Haley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Haley manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haley is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Martyshev to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Martyshev shrugs it off.
Leonid Martyshev has got the better of the ground game so far.

Martyshev bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Haley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Martyshev manages to get himself to full guard.
Martyshev is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gino Haley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Leonid Martyshev is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Haley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martyshev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gino Haley.
I think Martyshev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
