Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hardin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez ! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dominguez pushes Hardin up against the cage in a clinch. Dominguez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hardin tries to close the distance and clinch but Dominguez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dominguez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardin's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dominguez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dominguez sitting in guard here, content to control. Dominguez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dominguez is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dominguez tries to free his leg and advance position but Hardin is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Dominguez was stalling too much, according to the referee. A head kick by Dominguez misses and Hardin counters with a flying knee. Nice. Dominguez moves in looking to clinch but Hardin pushes him off. Dominguez drives through and clinches with Hardin against the cage.
Hardin decides to pull guard. Dominguez postures up.
Dominguez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hardin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dominguez is aware though and is defending well. Hardin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardin looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dominguez puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Hardin is trying to maintain the position but Dominguez is very close to passing his half guard. Dominguez landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hardin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dominguez . Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dominguez in particular looking to stall. Dominguez is looking to take a break and control but Hardin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dominguez not doing much here.
Dominguez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josh Dominguez was stalling too much, according to the referee. Dominguez swats away the attempt to clinch by Hardin. Dominguez takes the fight into the clinch. Hardin being controlled against the cage. Dominguez pulls Hardin into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hardin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hardin wanted to stand there but Dominguez had control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dominguez looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hardin tries to stand but Dominguez is controlling from the bottom. Hardin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dominguez tries to land a sweep but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dominguez wants to clinch up but Hardin keeps it at a distance. Hardin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dominguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dominguez throws a head kick that misses and Hardin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Hardin gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dominguez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dominguez . Dominguez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hardin is trying to pull guard but Dominguez has him pressed against the cage. Hardin can't break the clinch.
Dominguez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hardin just stands there and leans against the cage. Hardin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dominguez lands a takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Josh Dominguez has got the better of the ground game so far. Dominguez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hardin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dominguez , into his guard. Dominguez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hardin! Dominguez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hardin has worked his arm free - good work by Hardin!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dominguez trying to control the position but Hardin is working away. Dominguez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Hardin being controlled for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardin is trying to control Dominguez 's posture but Dominguez avoids it. Hardin tries to improve position but can't. Hardin parries the strikes from Dominguez easily there. Dominguez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hardin to escape.
Dominguez just content to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hardin is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dominguez trying to control the action but Hardin is working from the bottom. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hardin tries to clinch up and Dominguez counters with a straight right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Dominguez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Dominguez slaps away a takedown attempt from Hardin, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hardin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dominguez counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dominguez . Dominguez slowing the pace effectively. Hardin trying to control the position but instead, Dominguez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hardin into the cage. Hardin tries to pull guard but Dominguez holds him up against the cage and eventually Hardin drops back down to his feet.

Hardin tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dominguez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hardin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dominguez sprawls well. Dominguez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hardin gets slowly back to his feet. Dominguez gets the takedown into side control. Dominguez tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dominguez off and has taken his back! Dominguez trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. I really don't envy Dominguez right now.
Dominguez holding both Hardin 's hands and preventing any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hardin is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dominguez knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dominguez for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardin patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Hardin tries to keep control of the position but Dominguez is staying busy. Hardin is trying to stick to Dominguez 's back but Dominguez is turning into Hardin. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hardin's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dominguez . Dominguez is working Hardin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hardin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dominguez is controlling him. Dominguez passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dominguez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dominguez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dominguez lands a few punches from side control. Hardin tries to improve position but can't. Hardin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dominguez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dominguez . Dominguez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hardin's guard. Mike Hardin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Josh Dominguez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dominguez stays in close to Hardin's body and controls the position.
