Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hardin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Hardin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez !
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez pushes Hardin up against the cage in a clinch.
Dominguez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hardin tries to close the distance and clinch but Dominguez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dominguez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hardin's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Dominguez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hardin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hardin is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dominguez knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dominguez for a finish.

Hardin is trying to stick to Dominguez 's back but Dominguez is turning into Hardin. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hardin's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dominguez .

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
