Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Regan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Regan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wallace throws a body punch but Regan moves out of range.
Regan throws a right and a left that Wallace avoids nicely.
Wallace throws a shot to the body.
Regan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wallace defends it nicely.

Regan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Regan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wallace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Regan's guard.

Wallace throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Regan is looking to work some ground and pound but Wallace has wrist control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Wallace uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Regan.

Wallace is taking a breather. Regan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Regan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Vincent Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Regan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Regan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Regan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wallace to score with a decent uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Regan throws a right hand that Wallace ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallace also avoids with ease.
Regan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wallace sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Regan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
