Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fluke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jiu Jitsu. Toby Fluke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toby Fluke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Smith! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fluke is being controlled here. Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fluke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith scoring with punches from side control. Fluke stops Smith from passing to mount. Smith tries to stand but Fluke controls the position and pulls Smith into his guard. Smith sitting in guard, not really doing much. Smith looking to sit in guard and control but Fluke gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fluke with a flurry of punches that miss. Fluke wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. Fluke definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith has his hands on Fluke's head, controlling the position.

Paul Smith has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Fluke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard. Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Fluke has wrist control. Smith tries to stand but Fluke is controlling from the bottom. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Fluke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith wants to get up but he can't break Fluke's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith trying to control but Fluke is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Paul Smith has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Smith dives in and scores a takedown into Fluke's guard. Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fluke is keeping the position for now. Smith's corner is telling him to maintain position. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fluke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smith stands and throws Fluke's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Smith looks winded! Smith advances to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fluke tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Smith dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fluke. Smith darts in and clinches Fluke up against the cage. Smith tries to throw a body punch but Fluke avoids it by throwing Smith back against the cage. Fluke tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smith smiles and moves away.

Fluke keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. Smith wants to stand but Fluke is controlling his posture from full guard. Smith content to stall in guard here.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A combination from Fluke does no damage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Toby Fluke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Toby Fluke has been cut. Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Fluke! Smith with shots to the head and body - Fluke looks very uncomfortable down there. This has been an exciting period of action! Fluke tries to hold on but Smith postures up. Fluke manages to regain half guard. Good work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Smith winds up and cracks Fluke with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith wants to get back to his feet.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Fluke's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Toby Fluke's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fluke is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Smith working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Smith is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Fluke is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily. Smith trying to control from Fluke's half guard. Fluke has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Smith trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fluke's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith stays in close to Fluke's body and controls the position. Fluke has a closed guard, preventing Smith from standing up. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Fluke is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fluke has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Smith doesn't defend quickly enough and Fluke has managed to lock this one up! Can Smith escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fluke on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Toby Fluke! Post fight, Toby Fluke stared into the camera and said 'I love my fans, friends and families, I will go up the ranks, and win the title.'.
