Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fluke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jiu Jitsu. Toby Fluke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fluke is being controlled here.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fluke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fluke stops Smith from passing to mount.
Smith tries to stand but Fluke controls the position and pulls Smith into his guard.

Fluke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Fluke has wrist control.

Fluke tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Smith winds up and cracks Fluke with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Fluke's temple.

Paul Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Smith shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fluke is trying to defend but Smith finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fluke has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Smith doesn't defend quickly enough and Fluke has managed to lock this one up! Can Smith escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Fluke on a fantastic submission victory.
