Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Melendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - Survival. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Melendez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Melendez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Melendez turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Melendez manages to end up in side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gilbert Melendez will probably get the nod.
