Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcellas Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolai Kolpakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace comes to the cage accompanied by Pepper- Stormtrooper. Kolpakov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Alisa - Aerobica. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcellas Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Kolpakov! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kolpakov lands a nice hook to Wallace's body. Wallace takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kolpakov is looking to slow Wallace down with leg kicks. Wallace circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kolpakov throws a good cross that connects.

Kolpakov misses with a hook. Wallace ducked under it nicely. Wallace seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kolpakov moves into the clinch. Kolpakov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Donk. Kolpakov catches Wallace right on the button with a cross. Wallace takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kolpakov throws a poor cross that misses
and Wallace counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kolpakov's guard now. Kolpakov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wallace preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Wallace is in close to Kolpakov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wallace working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wallace connects with a couple of short punches. Wallace is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kolpakov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wallace working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wallace is working Kolpakov over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wallace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wallace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wallace with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolpakov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wallace throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kolpakov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kolpakov can do anything to dispel that myth. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wallace drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kolpakov dives on top into guard. Wallace looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kolpakov is defending well. Wallace quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kolpakov has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wallace celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marcellas Wallace! Marcellas Wallace decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
