Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Opferstock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dean had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Opferstock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dean Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Opferstock's back instead.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dean is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Opferstock knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Opferstock for a finish.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Opferstock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dean's guard.
Opferstock moves into full mount! Dean won't be happy about that!
