The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowie misses with a few strikes there.
Cherry slips under a jab.
Bowie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Buster Cherry has been cut.

and Cherry counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bowie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bowie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Cherry is posturing up here but Bowie has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cherry tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cherry has to tap! Slick submission there by Bowie!
