Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain comes to the cage accompanied by I Love this Road (Emerson Drive). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Tate does no damage.
Cain rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tate moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tate will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cain throws a half hearted mid kick.
The crowd cheers as Cain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tate doesn't seem phased though.
Tate tries to clinch but Cain moves away

Cain tries for a kimura but Tate is defending well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cain swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tate is now in Cain's guard. A big mistake from Cain there, giving up the dominant position!

Tate is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Tate got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tate has managed to get both his arms back between Cain's legs - danger averted.
Cain is pulling down on Tate's head. It's preventing any offense from Tate, at least for the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Emerson Cain will probably get the nod.

Tate changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cain tries to avoid it but Tate manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cain to the ground. Cain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Cain pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cain lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Tate backs up against the cage.
Cain scores with the left hand. Tate knows he should have avoided that one.
Tate takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tate takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Tate shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cain manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
