Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregg Buckley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gregg Buckley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Jones! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking to clinch but Buckley is avoiding it.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buckley moves away. Jones is looking to clinch. Buckley tries to work over Jones's front leg with a kick but Jones checks it. Buckley rushes Jones and presses him up against the cage. Jones connects with a nasty looking knee right to Buckley's face.
It looks like Gregg Buckley has been cut. Jones tries to pull guard but Buckley forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Buckley jumps guard but Jones turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jones trying to land knees to the body.
Buckley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. An elbow from Jones crashes against the mat.
Jones tries to stand but Buckley is controlling his head. Buckley is trying to improve his position. Buckley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buckley tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones scores with punches from side control. Buckley is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet. Buckley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Buckley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Buckley pulls his head out easily. Jones won't allow Buckley to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buckley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Buckley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Buckley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily. Buckley wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buckley is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Buckley wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy. Buckley controlling the action here. Jones looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buckley wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well. Buckley tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jones controls his leg. Buckley slows the pace down in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Gregg Buckley just wasn't active enough. Buckley gets a takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gregg Buckley dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gregg Buckley's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but Buckley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jones tries to clinch there but Buckley circles away.
Buckley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Buckley lands in his opponent's guard. Buckley stands and throws Jones's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jones is looking for a sweep. Jones is looking to get back to his feet here but Buckley is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jones's back. Buckley is landing with strikes from the back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buckley lands punches and elbows. A bit of a pause in the action here. Buckley controlling the positon. Jones showing good submission defense here.
Buckley is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Jones defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Buckley loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Jones hold on?

This has been an exciting period of action! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Jones is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Jones is breathing heavily. Jones trying to control the hands but Buckley won't let him. Jones is trying to get back to his feet but Buckley has full control of the position and if anything, Jones has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buckley working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Jones is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Buckley has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Jones taps out!
