Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Salas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2 PAC Picture Me Rollin . Franklin Worner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Worner.
Salas scores with a decent looking hook.

Worner tries to clinch but Salas is having none of it.
Worner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Salas to the ground. Worner is now in Salas's guard.

Salas leaves Worner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Worner shoots in looking for a takedown. Salas tries to sprawl out of it but Worner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Worner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Salas manages to avoid it.
Worner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salas as he jumps to the side.

Worner ducks right into an uppercut from Salas.
Worner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Salas is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Salas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Worner. That did some damage!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Worner shoots in and bounces Salas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Salas connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Worner on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Worner throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Salas works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Salas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Worner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Salas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That kick from Salas tenderised Worner's leg. Worner is trying to keep his angry face on.
Worner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Salas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Worner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nice uppercut lands for Salas. That snapped Worner's head back.
Oooooh!!! Salas has knocked Worner down with a huge combo! Salas steps away and waves a wobbly Worner back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Salas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Worner momentarily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Salas. Worner shrugs it off though.
Salas cracks Worner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Worner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Salas pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Worner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
