The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Antonio Rogerio Nogueria has been cut.
Emelianenko fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nogueria shoots in looking for a takedown but Emelianenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nogueria's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nogueria enables Emelianenko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nogueria manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
