Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ren Akita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Tsukuyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takeshi Tsukuyama looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ren Akita! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Tsukuyama! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Akita feints and as Tsukuyama raises his hands in defense, Akita changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tsukuyama looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Akita pushes down on Tsukuyama's leg and manages to get into half guard. Akita passes the guard and advances to mount! Akita trying to control but Tsukuyama is having none of it. Akita wants to finish this one by submission but Tsukuyama is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Akita. Tsukuyama is trying to reverse the position but instead Akita has taken his back - oops! What can Tsukuyama do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's one minute gone in the round. Akita throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Akita has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Tsukuyama's body.
Akita scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Akita controlling from the back. Akita has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Will Akita go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Tsukuyama is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Akita.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Ren Akita just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Akita shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akita moves to the back position. Akita slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Tsukuyama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Akita lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Tsukuyama hold on?!
