Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lars Gatti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Marchegiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocco Marchegiano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocco Marchegiano!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gatti.
Marchegiano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd cheers as Marchegiano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gatti doesn't seem phased though.
Gatti tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Marchegiano defends well and Gatti ends up having to push Marchegiano into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

You can see the frustration on Marchegiano's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Gatti thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gatti looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lars Gatti will probably get the nod.

No joy there for Marchegiano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Gatti counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Marchegiano's guard now.
Lars Gatti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Marchegiano is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Marchegiano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gatti's guard.

Gatti can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Marchegiano controls the pace.

Marchegiano decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gatti fails to land the takedown.
Gatti blocks a jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gatti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Marchegiano's waist but Marchegiano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gatti off to one side.
Nice shot lands for Marchegiano.
Marchegiano dips to his left and cracks Gatti with an uppercut!

And that's the end of the fight!
Rocco Marchegiano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Marchegiano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
