The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Suzuki throws a right hand that Rumble ducks under and follows up with a left that Rumble also avoids with ease.
Rumble slips under a jab from Suzuki.
Suzuki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rumble sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rumble is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Suzuki keeps the fight on the outside.
Rumble lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Suzuki throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rumble connects with a crisp jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rumble looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rumble fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Suzuki.
Rumble looks to land a combination but Suzuki avoids it well.

Rumble is looking to clinch but Suzuki is avoiding it.

Suzuki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rumble sprawls well initially but Suzuki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Suzuki is working for a submission of some sort.
Suzuki works his way into full mount!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Suzuki pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Suzuki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rumble is surviving well by controlling Suzuki's body position as best he can.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Suzuki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rumble is looking to escape.

Suzuki jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rumble manages to avoid the submission attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Suzuki is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rumble looks calm but he's in trouble here. Suzuki gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rumble is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Suzuki lets go of the hold and Rumble can pop his arm back in it's socket.
