Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randolph Turpin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Maczynsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maczynsky comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hymn kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randolph Turpin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Maczynsky! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Turpin. Maczynsky thuds his shin into the meat of Turpin's side. Maczynsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Turpin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maczynsky misses with a head kick.
Nice body punch from Turpin. Maczynsky scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turpin doesn't seem bothered though. Turpin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Turpin throws a leg kick and Maczynsky counters with a straight right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maczynsky lands with a shot to the body. A big left from Maczynsky misses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Maczynsky takes a kick to the side of the head. Maczynsky uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turpin has time to react. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A low kick from Turpin is predictable there and Maczynsky counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Turpin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Maczynsky paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Turpin closes the distance and pushes Maczynsky back into the cage. Randolph Turpin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
