Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shinkiumi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Christian.
Shinkiumi on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Shinkiumi wants to take the fight to the mat but Christian manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Shinkiumi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Christian blocks it with crossed arms.
Christian really is a fat lump.
Shinkiumi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Christian is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Christian takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Mason Christian has been cut.
Christian looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Christian tries to pull guard but Shinkiumi won't allow it.

Christian tries to kick Shinkiumi off but Shinkiumi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Christian gets back to full guard.
Shinkiumi wants to get up but he can't break Christian's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Shinkiumi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Christian tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Christian trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Christian holds on and takes a little breather.
Christian is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shinkiumi defends well.
Shinkiumi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Christian is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shinkiumi, into his guard.

Christian won't allow Shinkiumi to get back to his feet.
Christian passes Shinkiumi's left leg - he's now in half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christian wants to stand but Shinkiumi is controlling his arm.
Christian cracks Shinkiumi with a big right hand but Shinkiumi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Shinkiumi is looking to get back to his feet here but Christian is keeping cool and he's managed to take Shinkiumi's back.
Shinkiumi is breathing heavily.
Christian biding his time, looking for the opening.

Christian tightening his grip on Shinkiumi, looking for the choke.
Shinkiumi rolls, trying to escape but Christian keeps control of the position.
Christian looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Christian has good solid back control here.
Shinkiumi is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Christian gets his way!

Shinkiumi is trying to control the position but Christian manages to sink in the RNC - Shinkiumi is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mason Christian!
Tosh Shinkiumi spoke after the fight, saying 'Sorry to my fans and my Enemy's but I'll be back and too my enemy's I'm coming for you !!!!'.
