Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Colin Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kam Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colin Delaney could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kam Ba's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kam Ba! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ba with a lazy takedown attempt and Delaney counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Delaney. Delaney wants to break free but Ba has control.
Ba tries for a takedown. No joy.
Delaney tries to circle away but Ba has him pinned against the cage. Delaney wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ba has him pressed against the cage. Ba has Delaney pressed against the cage, preventing Delaney from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ba tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Delaney just stands there and leans against the cage. Colin Delaney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kam Ba. Ba keeps control of Delaney as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Delaney prevents the takedown attempt.
Ba has Delaney pressed against the cage, preventing Delaney from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Delaney tries to break the clinch but Ba is controlling the position. Ba has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Delaney is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ba drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ba wants a takedown.
Ba wants to take the fight to the mat but Delaney manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Delaney is trying to force a seperation but Ba has the dominant position. Delaney is trying to break free. Delaney tries to break the clinch but Ba is controlling the position. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Ba is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Delaney is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney wants to get back to striking at distance but Ba won't allow it.
Ba is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Delaney is keeping busy. Delaney is trying to break the clinch but Ba is controlling him. Delaney can't break the clinch.
Delaney tries to circle away but Ba has him pinned against the cage. Delaney is looking to break free of the clinch but Ba has double underhooks. Delaney tries to break free but Ba pushes him back against the cage. Delaney is pressed up against the cage. Ba has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Delaney down to the mat. Delaney avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ba fails with the takedown and Delaney counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ba looks winded! Delaney tries to free his leg and advance position but Ba is retaining full guard. Ba can't keep his opponent in guard - Delaney advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ba wants to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Delaney throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ba is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ba is trying to stand back up but Delaney is controlling him
Delaney passes the guard and advances to mount! Delaney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Delaney controlling from mount. Ba is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Delaney sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Delaney seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ba for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ba holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Delaney tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Delaney tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ba is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delaney in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ba has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Delaney controlling from the back. Ba is trying to get back to his feet but Delaney has full control of the position and if anything, Ba has just worked his way into a worse spot. Delaney is riding his opponent, not letting Ba buck him off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ba trying to get back to his feet but Delaney is in full control for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Colin Delaney dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ba gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Delaney counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ba wants to stand and escape but Delaney is having none of it. Delaney wants to get up but he can't break Ba's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Delaney controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Ba wants to stand up but Delaney is controlling him. Delaney pushes down on Ba's leg and manages to get into half guard. Delaney frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. You get the feeling that Ba really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Ba is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ba is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Delaney has taken his back! Delaney trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ba doesn't escape. Delaney patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Ba is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. I would not like to be Ba right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Delaney working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Ba is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Delaney has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Ba taps out!
