Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Irvin Duran!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Harris!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris takes the fight into the clinch.
Harris lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Irvin Duran has been cut.
Harris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Duran.
Duran tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Harris just stands there and leans against the cage.
Duran wants to stall.
Harris dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Duran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harris tries to clinch but Duran moves out of range.

Harris moves into range and clinches up with Duran.
Duran pressing his opponent against the cage.
Harris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Duran is defending well for now.

Harris comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Harris stalls.
Harris gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Duran.

Come on Harris - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Duran is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Harris to keep the fight standing.

Duran is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Harris is defending well.

Duran has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Harris after a bit of a struggle.

Duran has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Harris avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Duran with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Harris lands an elbow inside.
Duran blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Harris is stalling here.
Duran tries to pull guard but Harris forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Duran breaks from the clinch.
Duran shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Harris as he avoids it easily.
Harris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Duran moves into the clinch.
Duran can't break the clinch.
Duran wants to break free but Harris has control.
Duran tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Duran looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The referee calls for Harris to work.
Harris gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Harris's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Duran on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ethan Harris dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Irvin Duran's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Duran swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Duran shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Harris wants to clinch.
Duran keeps the fight on the outside.
Duran shoots in and drives through. Harris sprawls well.
Duran darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Duran into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irvin Duran. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duran drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Duran is trying to drag Harris to the mat but Harris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Harris comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


Irvin Duran's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Duran is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Harris pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Harris lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Ethan Harris seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Harris is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Duran is trying to pull guard but Harris turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duran jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harris walks away with a smile on his face. Duran gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duran closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Harris moves into range and clinches up with Duran.
Harris comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Harris lands an elbow that stopped Duran in his tracks for a moment.


Jeez, Irvin Duran's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duran wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Harris throws an elbow that misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Harris - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Harris is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Duran is defending well for now.
Duran fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Harris lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Irvin Duran's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ethan Harris!
