Haarmann has chosen Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fritz Haarmann has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harri Joki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fritz Haarmann!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haarmann circles away quickly and effectively.
Joki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haarmann paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Haarmann looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Joki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haarmann's waist but Haarmann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joki off to one side.
Joki shoots in for a takedown but Haarmann shows good takedown defense.
Joki looks to land a combination. Haarmann sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Fritz Haarmann has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Joki shoots for a takedown but Haarmann saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harri Joki. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Haarmann decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Joki's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Haarmann drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Haarmann jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Joki wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Haarmann is now in half guard.

Haarmann is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
