Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dee Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Crasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dee Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Crasher!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crasher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blake sprawls well. Blake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crasher gets slowly back to his feet.
Blake throws a head kick but Crasher moves out of range.
Blake throws a head kick that misses
and Crasher counters with a body kick that stops Blake in his tracks momentarily.
Crasher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Blake goes for a double leg but Crasher avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Crasher continues to drive forward.
Blake is trying to break the clinch but Crasher is controlling him.
Crasher tries to pull guard but Blake won't allow it.
Dee Blake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Crasher.

Crasher breaks the clinch.

Blake clinches with his opponent.

Blake jumps into guard, dragging Crasher to the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Crasher stops Blake from standing up.
Blake trying to keep a closed guard but Crasher is proving a slippery customer.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Johnny Crasher hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Blake shoots in for a double leg but Crasher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Crasher fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Crasher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Blake sprawls well. Blake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crasher gets slowly back to his feet.

Crasher moves into the clinch.
Crasher is trying to maintain a safe position but Blake gets an underhook and turns Crasher into the cage.

Crasher lands a body punch.
Crasher landing some nice looking knees to the body.

A bit of stalling here from Blake.

Blake has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Crasher avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Blake is breathing heavily.

Crasher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blake takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Dee Blake has been cut.
Blake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crasher goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Blake fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Crasher.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crasher wants to control for a moment but Blake uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crasher is controlling the pace.
Blake tries to kick Crasher off but Crasher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Blake has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crasher is working away from the top position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Blake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Crasher is looking to clinch.
Blake looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Crasher pinned against the cage. Crasher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dee Blake. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Crasher dives in and scores a takedown into Blake's guard.

Crasher stops Blake from standing up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Blake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crasher is one step ahead there.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blake is on top in guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Crasher holds on and takes a little breather.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Blake wants to stand but Crasher has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Blake content to stall in guard here.

Crasher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Crasher keeping moving, preventing Blake from controlling successfully.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Crasher. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Crasher trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Crasher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Crasher postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Blake to stand up.
Crasher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Blake but Blake pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crasher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Blake pinned against the cage. Blake gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Crasher showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and Crasher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Blake closes the distance and pushes Crasher back into the cage.
Blake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crasher after a bit of a struggle.

Blake tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crasher just stands there and leans against the cage.

Blake looks for a takedown but Crasher sprawls well.

Crasher fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blake, pushing him back against the cage.
Crasher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blake pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Crasher gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Blake regains guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Johnny Crasher wasn't active enough on the ground.
Crasher throws a series of punches but Blake avoids them all with ease.
Crasher tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blake sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crasher somewhat.
Blake shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crasher but Crasher pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnny Crasher seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Blake counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Blake drops down looking for an ankle pick but Crasher pulls his leg out and moves away.
Blake closes the distance and clinches up with Crasher, looking for a takedown. Blake pushes Crasher against the cage but Crasher circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Crasher counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Crasher.

Blake fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crasher avoids it really well and circles away.
Blake darts in looking for a takedown but Crasher gets double underhooks and turns Blake into the cage.
Dee Blake has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Johnny Crasher is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crasher jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Blake walks away with a smile on his face. Crasher gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Crasher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Crasher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
