Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Pinksy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skinny Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drew Pinksy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Skinny Boy!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinksy tries a head kick but it misses.

Pinksy throws a head kick but Boy moves out of range.
A combination from Pinksy does no damage.
Pinksy throws a right and a left that Boy avoids nicely.
Boy throws a head kick but Pinksy moves out of range.
Boy blocks a head kick by Pinksy.
Boy shoots for a takedown but Pinksy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Boy shoots in and bounces Pinksy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy trying to control but Pinksy is working from the bottom.
Boy wants to pass the guard but Pinksy is keeping the position.

Boy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Boy working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Boy tries for a kimura but Pinksy is defending well.

Boy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pinksy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pinksy pushes Boy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Boy looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Boy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pinksy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Pinksy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boy on the ground.
Boy looks gassed!

Boy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pinksy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pinksy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pinksy is trying to control Boy's posture but Boy avoids it.
Pinksy is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boy works to advance to full mount. Pinksy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Pinksy is trying to escape the mount.
Pinksy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Boy is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pinksy is surviving well by controlling Boy's body position as best he can.
Boy trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skinny Boy dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Pinksy stuffs the takedown.
Pinksy getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pinksy circles away.
Boy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pinksy pinned against the cage. Pinksy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Drew Pinksy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Skinny Boy.
Boy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pinksy swivels and escapes.
Pinksy clobbers Boy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice uppercut lands for Pinksy. That snapped Boy's head back.
Pinksy misses with a few strikes there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pinksy - the referee stops the clock and Boy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pinksy. Boy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pinksy throws a right and a left that Boy avoids nicely.
Pinksy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Pinksy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pinksy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pinksy jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pinksy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pinksy throws a head kick that misses.
Pinksy throws a right hand that Boy ducks under and follows up with a left that Boy also avoids with ease.
Drew Pinksy is winning the standup battle so far.
Pinksy slips under a jab from Boy.
Pinksy fakes the leg kick and cracks Boy in the body.
Boy avoids the head kick by Pinksy.
A shot to de liver by Pinksy. Beautiful body shot.
Pinksy lands a jab to Boy's midsection.
Boy tries to clinch up.
Pinksy misses with a double jab.

Pinksy lands a nice looking body kick.
Pinksy misses with a two punch combination.

Boy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Pinksy trying his best to control but Boy has mounted him.

Boy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pinksy is now in Boy's guard. A big mistake from Boy there, giving up the dominant position!
Pinksy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pinksy stopping the sweep attempt from Boy.

Pinksy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pinksy wants to control from the top but Boy keeps moving.
Boy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Boy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pinksy!

Boy working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Boy jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pinksy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pinksy and Boy has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pinksy has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Boy but great work by Pinksy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pinksy.
Pinksy swinging wilding here.
Boy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pinksy tries to avoid it but Boy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pinksy to the ground. Pinksy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boy avoids the head kick by Pinksy.
Skinny Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinksy scores with a punch to the head.
Boy gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pinksy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pinksy misses with a wild combination.
Boy misses with a double jab
and Pinksy counters with a good, hard body kick but Boy shrugs it off.
Drew Pinksy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boy throws a hook but Pinksy avoids it easily.
Boy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pinksy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Pinksy tries a head kick but it misses.

Pinksy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boy has time to react.
Pinksy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boy slips a jab and a cross from Pinksy.

Boy feints and as Pinksy raises his hands in defense, Boy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pinksy trying to control the position.
Pinksy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boy is controlling him.
Boy trying to control the position from guard on top but Pinksy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pinksy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Boy wants to pass the guard but Pinksy is keeping the position.
Skinny Boy has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boy wants to control from the top but Pinksy keeps moving.
Boy pushes down on Pinksy's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Boy is working for a submission of some sort.
Pinksy is looking to escape.
Pinksy is trying to maintain the position but Boy is very close to passing his half guard.

Boy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pinksy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Boy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pinksy defends it well.
Pinksy wants to control but Boy is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Boy wants to work for an arm triangle but Pinksy is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Drew Pinksy showed his dominance in that final round.
