Small is working Quick over against the cage.
We've been informed that Quick has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Small wants the takedown. Quick is fighting it off but Small persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Quick's guard against the cage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Small stands and throws Quick's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Small has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Quick is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Small yanks on the arm and Quick is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Small.
