Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dizzy Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Valuev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valuev swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Valuev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Valuev distracts Flash with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Valuev not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Valuev slips nicely into half guard.
Valuev is nestled in close to Flash, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Valuev seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Flash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valuev on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Valuev's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Valuev wants to pass to mount but Flash is defending the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Igor Valuev hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Valuev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Flash throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Valuev decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Flash tries to roll over but Valuev keeps him under control.
Valuev tries to pass to full mount but Flash defends it.

Valuev winds up and cracks Flash with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Flash pushes Valuev off looking to stand but Valuev dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Valuev lands with a punch from half guard.
Flash is trying to control but Valuev manages to pass to mount!

Valuev lands a big shot there that rocks Flash but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Valuev! Flash is hurt baaadly! Valuev is firing away with more strikes - Flash is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
