Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eddy wants to clinch.
Eddy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson fails with the takedown
and Eddy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Eddy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Eddy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Johnson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Johnson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Eddy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Eddy is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Johnson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Johnson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Eddy anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Johnson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Eddy slips an arm under Johnson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Eddy has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Eddy is squeezing on Johnson like an anaconda would it's prey. Johnson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nelson Eddy!
