Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Rogers has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Eldon Pena's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eldon Pena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Rogers! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pena is looking to clinch but Rogers is avoiding it.
Pena shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed Pena's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Pena as Rogers shoots in. Rogers fails with a takedown attempt. Rogers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pena but Pena pushes him off and we're back to square one. Eldon Pena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rogers. Rogers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pena as he jumps to the side. Rogers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pena sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rogers somewhat. Rogers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pena circles away. Rogers closes the distance and pushes Pena back into the cage. Pena prevents the takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pena tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rogers is trying to pull guard but Pena turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Pena has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rogers uses from the top position. Rogers tries to stand but Pena is controlling from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pena is on top in guard.
Rogers isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pena stacks Rogers on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pena! Rogers is trying to control Pena's posture but Pena avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pena is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rogers knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Rogers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pena is working for a kimura but Rogers is defending it quite comfortably.
Pena is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pena thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pena in particular looking to stall. Rogers strikes from the bottom but Pena passes into mount!

Rogers is squirming around, avoiding Pena's attempts to control the action. Pena really is a fat lump. Rogers is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogers tries to hold on but Pena postures up. Pena throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Rogers really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Pena misses with some ground and pound and Rogers recovers position to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rogers tries to roll over but Pena keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Eldon Pena will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A head kick by Pena misses and Rogers counters with a head kick. That will keep Pena thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Rogers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pena. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pena is defended easily by Rogers. Pena swinging wildly here.

Pena is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rogers gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rogers fails to pull guard.
Pena is trying to maintain a safe position but Rogers gets an underhook and turns Pena into the cage.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pena uses from the top position. Pena wants to control from the top but Rogers keeps moving. Pena might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rogers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogers manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pena keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Pena breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pena shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eldon Pena. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pena displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rogers. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rogers. Rogers is breathing heavily. Pena throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pena shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rogers sprawls well. Rogers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pena gets slowly back to his feet. Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown but Pena manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rogers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pena has a takedown stuffed. Pena misses the shot to the body. Rogers slips a jab and a cross from Pena.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pena as he avoids it easily. Pena looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rogers pushes Pena up against the cage in a clinch. Pena tries to pull guard but Rogers forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Pena jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rogers walks away with a smile on his face. Pena gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Pena gets a clinch. Pena is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Rogers to keep the fight standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pena tries to circle away but Rogers has him pinned against the cage. Come on Rogers - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Rogers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pena looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rogers is one step ahead there. Pena is trying to control the position but Rogers postures up. Pena keeping moving, preventing Rogers from controlling successfully. Jack Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far. Rogers looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jack Rogers. Rogers dives in and grabs Pena's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pena pushes down on Rogers's head and hops out. Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Pena swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Rogers as Pena shoots in. Pena throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rogers counters with a head kick. That will keep Pena thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Pena shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. Pena breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rogers is looking to clinch but Pena is avoiding it.

Rogers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rogers moves into the clinch. Rogers has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pena after a bit of a struggle. Eldon Pena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Rogers. Rogers tries to break free but Pena pushes him back against the cage. Pena wants a takedown.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rogers jumps guard but Pena stands there with Rogers around his waist. Rogers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pena ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pena no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Pena bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogers's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pena gets to his feet - Rogers follows without any prompting. Rogers is looking to clinch. Rogers wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pena stuffs the takedown attempt from Rogers. Rogers gets slowly back to his feet. Pena fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rogers leaves Pena with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pena will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pena paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eldon Pena is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rogers tries for a takedown but Pena sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Pena tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rogers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pena somewhat. Rogers has a takedown stuffed. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rogers throws a nice head kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Rogers comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rogers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
