Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rob Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale Crum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamilton comes to the cage accompanied by OTC- why can't i. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Hamilton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dale Crum! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crum looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hamilton! Hamilton wants to control but Crum is having none of it. Hamilton regains half guard. Hamilton preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Hamilton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crum is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamilton is looking to escape. Hamilton wants to control but Crum passes into side.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hamilton tries to get back to half guard but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Crum throws a one two combo.
Hamilton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Crum.
Hamilton tries for a takedown but Crum circles away easily and Crum counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hamilton's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamilton is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hamilton wants to sweep but no luck. Crum is fighting to break Hamilton's control of his arms but Hamilton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hamilton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hamilton is breathing heavily. Hamilton seems keen to control Crum's posture. Crum trying to control but Hamilton is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hamilton trying to keep a closed guard but Crum is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dale Crum dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hamilton looks to clinch and Crum counters with a nice leg kick. Hamilton decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Crum is staying active underneath Hamilton, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Hamilton content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hamilton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hamilton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Rob Hamilton just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hamilton tries to clinch but fails miserably and Crum counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hamilton's guard now. Hamilton looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hamilton is looking for a triangle but Crum pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crum is thwarting Hamilton's attempts to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Crum closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hamilton doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crum makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hamilton but Hamilton pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hamilton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Crum counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Crum. Crum misses with a knee strike.
Hamilton lands a takedown into guard.
Hamilton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crum looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hamilton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hamilton chips away with some ground and pound. Hamilton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rob Hamilton will probably get the nod. That's time! Hamilton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hamilton with a lazy takedown attempt and Crum counters with a thumping low kick. Hamilton fails with the takedown and Crum counters with a two punch combo. Crum will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rob Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hamilton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Crum counters by moving into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Hamilton. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crum trying to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hamilton tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crum just stands there and leans against the cage. Hamilton goes for a takedown attempt but Crum pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A combination from Crum does no damage. Hamilton fails with the takedown and Crum counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hamilton holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hamilton is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Crum pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hamilton is trying to stand.
Hamilton tries to get to full guard but Crum has control of the leg. Hamilton blocking the ground and pound attempt from Crum. Crum is thwarting Hamilton's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hamilton wants to sweep but Crum has passed to side control! Hamilton looking for a sweep but Crum has passed into full mount! Oh no! Hamilton looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Hamilton is in bad spot here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hamilton preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Crum. Crum trying to control momentarily.
Crum not allowing Hamilton to control his hands. I really don't envy Hamilton right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hamilton just trying to survive but Crum is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
And that's the end of the fight! Dale Crum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Crum has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
