Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rain Ask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quita Ioptoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rain Ask has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rain Ask seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rain Ask! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quita Ioptoa! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ask shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ask shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ioptoa defends it nicely. Ioptoa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ioptoa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ioptoa wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rain Ask. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ask avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ask has a takedown stuffed. Ask shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ioptoa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Ask goes for a double leg but Ioptoa avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ioptoa continues to drive forward. Ask turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Ask tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Ioptoa can't do much from the bottom here.

Ioptoa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ask. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ask wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ioptoa, who protects the arm well. Ask tries to stand but Ioptoa controls the position and pulls Ask into his guard. Ioptoa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ask closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ask tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Ask definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Ask lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ioptoa down.

Rain Ask overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ask throws an elbow but Ioptoa slips to the side and avoids it well. Ask wants to control but Ioptoa is keeping him busy. Ask lands some shots froms side control. Ask wants to stand but Ioptoa has his arm trapped. That's two minutes gone in the round. Ask misses with the ground and pound. Ask in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Ioptoa gets back to half guard. Ask not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ioptoa wants to get back to his feet. Ioptoa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ask. Ask with the ground and pound but Ioptoa uses the opportunity to regain guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Ask there. Ioptoa is looking for a sweep. Ask is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ask throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ask passes to full mount! Ask throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ioptoa because Ask loaded up on that one. Ioptoa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ask tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ask throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ask cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ioptoa sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ask throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ioptoa wants to control but Ask is keeping busy.

Ioptoa is rocked! Ask unloads with some huge strikes here! Ioptoa is out! Ask wins by brutal knockout!
