Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Little shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Welch counters with a shoot takedown. Little fights it but they end up in guard.
Little trying to keep a closed guard but Welch is proving a slippery customer.
Little is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Welch is controlling him.
Welch sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daren Welch has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Little dives in and grabs Welch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Welch pushes down on Little's head and hops out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daren Welch.

Welch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Little was covering up waiting for the punch and Welch finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Little is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Little tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Welch presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Welch is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Little defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Welch is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Little is in a bad position with Welch working for a choke. Little manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Little gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Welch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Little swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Welch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
