Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bartholomew Roach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roach comes to the cage accompanied by The Simpsons Theme Song. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice Jr looks to throw the jab but Roach is out of range.
Roach has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Slice Jr.
Roach avoids the body shot from Slice Jr.
Slice Jr lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Roach throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slice Jr with a jab.
Slice Jr moves into the clinch.
Slice Jr blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Roach swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Slice Jr misses with a punch to the body.
Slice Jr is pushing Roach up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Slice Jr pushes off an throws an elbow but Roach leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Roach lands a right hand.
Roach is fighting off a takedown attempt but Slice Jr is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Roach to the mat. Roach regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Roach is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Slice Jr defends well.
Slice Jr is working Roach over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Roach will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Slice Jr throws a strike but Roach rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We're going to have a standup here because Bartholomew Roach wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Roach sizes up Slice Jr with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Slice Jr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Roach was well out of range. Poor timing from Slice Jr.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo Slice Jr dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Bartholomew Roach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

We've been told by Roach's head coaches at *Nelson Fight Camp* that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

I would just about give that final round to Kimbo Slice Jr.
