Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and marios zaromskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondo comes to the cage accompanied by Papa Roach - Last Resort . Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as marios zaromskis enters the cage!

Mondo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mondo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mondo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Mondo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed zaromskis's head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mondo connects with a nice short shot to zaromskis's temple.
zaromskis is still in real trouble! Can Mondo finish him?
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mondo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mondo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt zaromskis quite badly. zaromskis pulls Mondo in close trying to recover. Mondo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put zaromskis on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but zaromskis doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Mondo!
