Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klein comes into the arena with Mortal Kombat blaring out of the sound system. Perez has chosen Spill The Wine - War as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perez.
Klein gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Klein definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Perez fails to land the takedown.
Klein swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perez.
Perez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mickey Klein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Perez.
Klein darts in and clinches Perez up against the cage.

Perez's coach down at BigMouth Cabrons was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Perez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Perez dives in and grabs Klein's left leg, looking for a takedown. Klein pushes down on Perez's head and hops out.

Klein takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Perez. Klein does a little dance to reset his feet.

Perez blocks a head kick by Klein.
Klein lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sloppy strikes from Perez. Those never looked like landing.

Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Klein tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perez swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Perez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Klein throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Klein is pressed up against the cage. Perez has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Klein down to the mat. Klein avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Perez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Klein after a bit of a struggle.

Perez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Klein fights it off and pushes away nicely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Perez darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Perez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Klein. Klein circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Perez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Klein did well to prevent Perez getting side control.

Perez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Perez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klein looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Klein is not content to let Perez control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Perez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Klein haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Perez looks up at the clock and then as Klein takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Perez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that's the end of the fight!
Billy Perez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Perez has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
