Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Hendricks!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Hendricks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jones wants a takedown but no success here.

Hendricks turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.

It looks like Hendricks might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hendricks is aware though and is defending well.
