Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Bielkheden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lloyd Miller! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bielkheden fails with the takedown. Miller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bielkheden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miller's guard. Bielkheden chips away with some ground and pound. Bielkheden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bielkheden works over Miller with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bielkheden pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miller is keeping the position for now. Bielkheden stands and throws Miller's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bielkheden wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Miller, who protects the arm well. Bielkheden working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Bielkheden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is looking to reverse the position. Bielkheden tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bielkheden has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Miller is looking for a sweep. Bielkheden stands up. Bielkheden gets caught flat footed, as Miller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bielkheden wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Bielkheden is breathing heavily. Bielkheden trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Bielkheden trying to keep a closed guard but Miller is proving a slippery customer.
Bielkheden looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Miller puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bielkheden tries to kick Miller off but Miller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bielkheden tries to roll over but Miller keeps him under control. Miller wants to free his trapped foot but Bielkheden is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bielkheden takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Miller drives through with a takedown into guard. Bielkheden throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bielkheden wants to hit a switch here but Miller passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bielkheden there! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bielkheden tries to hold on but Miller pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Bielkheden throwing hammer fists to the chest of Miller. What's that going to do exactly? Bielkheden has given up his back here.
Miller is not going to allow Bielkheden to sit and survive in this position. Bielkheden is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Bielkheden rolls, trying to escape but Miller keeps control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that David Bielkheden will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bielkheden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Miller holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bielkheden wants a takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bielkheden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bielkheden with a lazy takedown attempt and Miller counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bielkheden's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Bielkheden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller wants to control from the top but Bielkheden keeps moving. Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Miller drops back looking for a leg! Bielkheden is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bielkheden manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Bielkheden's guard. Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bielkheden throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Bielkheden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there. Miller wants to control from the top but Bielkheden keeps moving. Miller drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miller jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bielkheden misses with a takedown attempt and Miller counters with a nice double leg into guard. Bielkheden is looking for a triangle but Miller pushes his legs off easily.
Miller wants to stand but Bielkheden has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bielkheden has control of Miller's left arm, preventing Miller from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bielkheden swivels though and keeps the full guard. Miller is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bielkheden is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bielkheden is tying to control. Miller wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bielkheden with the ground and pound but Miller uses the opportunity to regain guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lloyd Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Bielkheden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Bielkheden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there. Bielkheden is working hard here to advance position. Bielkheden is trying to control the position but Miller postures up. Miller prevents Bielkheden from getting back to his feet. Miller advances position into side control! Miller decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bielkheden works a leg free and moves into half guard. Miller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bielkheden looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bielkheden thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Miller to regain full guard. Miller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bielkheden wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Bielkheden is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control. Miller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Miller has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Bielkheden controls from within his opponent's guard. Bielkheden drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miller dives on top into guard. Miller postures up.
Bielkheden is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miller is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! Lloyd Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
