Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pulla Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pulla Sorsa could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryan Sonnen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pulla Sorsa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Sonnen! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sonnen misses with an uppercut. Sonnen loads up on a big right hand but Sorsa slips the punch. Sonnen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sorsa manages to avoid it. Sorsa throws a nice inside leg kick. Sonnen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sorsa wants to clinch but Sonnen slips to the side and Sonnen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sonnen throws an overhand right that lands on Sorsa's shoulder, as Sorsa tries to avoid the shot. Sonnen needs to keep his hands up - Sorsa had a free shot at his head there. Sonnen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Good standup being displayed there by Sorsa as he connects with a hook. Sorsa throws a shot to the body.
Sorsa throws a body kick that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sonnen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sonnen content to control rather than advance. Sorsa's coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Sonnen prevents Sorsa from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen winds up and cracks Sorsa with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Sonnen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sorsa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sorsa tries to land a sweep but no joy. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sorsa holds on and takes a little breather. That's two minutes gone in the round. Sorsa is trying to control the position but Sonnen postures up. Sorsa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sonnen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sonnen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sorsa controls Sonnen momentarily but Sonnen frees himself. Sonnen wants to control from the top but Sorsa keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sorsa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sonnen controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sorsa looking for a sweep. Not yet Sorsa, not yet. Sonnen wants to control from the top but Sorsa keeps moving.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryan Sonnen hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sorsa misses with a leg kick. The fighters circle momentarily. Sonnen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sonnen clobbers Sorsa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Sorsa shoots in and gets a takedown into Sonnen's guard. Sonnen is looking to stand up but Sorsa isn't so interested in that idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sorsa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sonnen is keeping the position for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sorsa postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sorsa tries to free his leg and advance position but Sonnen is retaining full guard. Sonnen keeping moving, preventing Sorsa from controlling successfully. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sorsa is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sonnen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pulla Sorsa will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sorsa lands with a slapping head kick. Sonnen misses with a body shot.
Sorsa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sonnen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sorsa. Good leg kick by Sorsa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sonnen lands an overhand right. Sorsa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sorsa tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sonnen defends well and Sorsa ends up having to push Sonnen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sorsa throws a punch but it's blocked by Sonnen. Sonnen throws a head punch that misses. A right hook to the body lands for Sonnen.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sonnen letting Sorsa take a breather here. Sorsa is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sonnen is keeping busy. Still in the clinch, Sonnen scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sonnen misses with some punches.
Sonnen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sorsa backwards. Sorsa is trying to maintain a safe position but Sonnen gets an underhook and turns Sorsa into the cage. A short left from Sonnen.
Sorsa is rocked! Sonnen is working Sorsa over against the cage. Oh Sorsa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sonnen creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sorsa's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sorsa drops to his knees and Sonnen pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryan Sonnen!
