Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Efren Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Thullstrup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thullstrup clinches up with Baird and pushes him back against the cage.
Baird throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Thullstrup blocks it with crossed arms.
Thullstrup is trying to force a seperation but Baird has the dominant position.
Thullstrup is trying to drag Baird to the mat but Baird just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Baird breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Baird moves into the clinch successfully.

Baird is looking to control Thullstrup's arms but Thullstrup gets an underhook and turns him. Now Baird has his back to the cage.
Thullstrup turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Baird throws a sloppy head kick and Thullstrup moves out of range easily.
Thullstrup dives in and grabs Baird's left leg, looking for a takedown. Baird pushes down on Thullstrup's head and hops out.

Thullstrup shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Baird pinned against the cage. Baird gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Thullstrup manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Thullstrup is looking to break free of the clinch but Baird has double underhooks.
Thullstrup tightens his grip and picks Baird up, before dumping him to the ground. Baird manages to land in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thullstrup is looking to pass into half guard but Baird pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Baird is in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
