Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pele Fusuaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The High Road. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Pele Fusuaga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Anderson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fusuaga throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anderson. Fusuaga misses with an uppercut. Anderson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice uppercut there from Fusuaga. Fusuaga moves out of range of the body kick. Anderson tries to land a front kick but Fusuaga steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Pele Fusuaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fusuaga lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Craig Anderson has been cut. A jab from Fusuaga misses. Fusuaga blocks a head kick by Anderson.
Fusuaga throws an off balance right hand
and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anderson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fusuaga defends it well. Fusuaga is staying active underneath Anderson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fusuaga wants to get back to full guard but Anderson has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is trying to get an arm triangle but Fusuaga is defending well. Anderson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fusuaga is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Anderson yanks on the arm and Fusuaga is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Anderson.
