Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randall McMurphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McMurphy comes to the cage accompanied by I own Golly God.. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randall McMurphy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Horton! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McMurphy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Horton in the domination position with McMurphy hanging on. McMurphy is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on McMurphy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. My spies in CW's Elite Kung-Fu Academy inform me that Horton has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Horton tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Horton in side control, throwing shots but McMurphy defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Horton laying and praying for a moment but McMurphy takes advantage and regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Horton is nestled in close to McMurphy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Horton is working for a kimura but McMurphy is defending it quite comfortably.
Horton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. McMurphy is trying to maintain the position but Horton is very close to passing his half guard. Horton wants to lay and pray for a moment but McMurphy keeps working. Horton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McMurphy defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horton stalling away here and it's allowed McMurphy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Horton looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Horton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Horton postures up.
Horton is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Horton trying to control the position from guard on top but McMurphy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Horton stopping the sweep attempt from McMurphy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horton is looking to work some ground and pound but McMurphy has wrist control. Horton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Horton throws an elbow that misses. McMurphy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Horton's guard. Nice move by McMurphy! Horton wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McMurphy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McMurphy throws a series of punches but Horton avoids them all with ease. Horton slips a straight right by McMurphy. Horton is putting a hurting on McMurphy here, landing some big shots from side control. Horton landing strikes. Horton tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. We've been hearing good reports from McMurphy's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Horton is looking to take a break and control but McMurphy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action!

Horton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Horton wants to lay and pray for a moment but McMurphy keeps working.

It looks like Randall McMurphy has been cut. Horton wants to control but McMurphy is keeping him busy. Horton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Horton looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McMurphy is avoiding damage well.

McMurphy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Horton preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. McMurphy is thwarting Horton's attempts to control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Horton tries to get to full guard but McMurphy has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tim Horton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Randall McMurphy's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Horton with a lazy takedown attempt and McMurphy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Horton's knee momentarily. McMurphy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Horton. Horton scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Horton swings around for an armbar but McMurphy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Horton's guard. Horton wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and McMurphy is now in half guard. McMurphy prevents Horton from improving his position. McMurphy is thwarting Horton's attempts to control the position. McMurphy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horton is trying is best to control the position here. Horton is trying to stand.
Horton wants to sweep but McMurphy has passed to side control! Horton is looking for a sweep. McMurphy working away. What's Horton going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Horton struggling a bit here. Randall McMurphy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Horton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Horton wants to control but McMurphy passes into side.
Horton tries to bench press McMurphy off him but McMurphy keeps the position. Horton is not content to let McMurphy control the position. Horton gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horton wants to control but McMurphy is keeping busy and won't allow it. Horton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McMurphy wants to control but Horton is keeping him busy. McMurphy prevents Horton from improving his position. Horton manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horton working for submissions but it's allowed McMurphy to get to half guard.
Horton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McMurphy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McMurphy's back! Tim Horton is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. McMurphy is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Horton looking to hold on to the position here but McMurphy rolls and ends up regaining guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Horton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Horton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
