Kid comes to the cage accompanied by lukenback texas. Ames has chosen Ludacris - Get Back as his entrance music. Nathan Ames has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nathan Ames!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ames fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ames checks a low kick from Kid.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kid - that will leave a mark!
A slapping leg kick lands for Kid.
Ames throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kid shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kid tries a low kick but Ames avoids it.
A cross from Ames lands.
Ames takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ames connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kid blocks a jab.
Ames will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kid lands with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kid misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kid lands a big right hand that sends Ames crashing to the mat! Kid stays standing though and waves Ames back to his feet!
Ames is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kid throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ames is still on wobbly legs! Can Kid finish him?
Ames takes a swing at Kid's ribcage but misses.
Ames seems to have recovered his senses.
Kid circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ames to the canvas! Ames doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Kid keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Captain Kid!
Captain Kid bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
