Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chase Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obedia Houghington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Houghington has chosen Blitzkrieg bop as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Obedia Houghington looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Chase Blevins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Obedia Houghington! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blevins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Blevins avoids the elbow strike from Houghington, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Blevins - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Houghington wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short right from Blevins on the inside. Houghington tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blevins just stands there and leans against the cage. Houghington throws an elbow that misses.
Blevins has Houghington pushed against the cage. Blevins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Blevins jumps guard and drags Houghington to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Blevins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Houghington is one step ahead there. Houghington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Blevins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houghington preventing the sweep. Blevins has control of Houghington's left arm, preventing Houghington from doing any damage. Blevins looking for a guillotine here but Houghington defends easily.
Houghington would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Blevins keeping moving, preventing Houghington from controlling successfully. Houghington looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blevins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Obedia Houghington has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Houghington shoots in and drives through. Blevins sprawls well. Houghington darts in trying to clinch and Blevins counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Houghington pushes off an throws an elbow but Blevins leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Blevins missing with knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blevins wants a takedown.
Blevins effectively controlling the action here. Blevins successfully pulls guard.
Houghington trying to control but Blevins is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Houghington accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Houghington trying to control but Blevins is working from the bottom. Blevins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Houghington defends it easily. Blevins is breathing heavily. Houghington wants to control from the top but Blevins keeps moving. We've been informed that Houghington has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blevins wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Houghington won't allow Blevins to sweep him here. Blevins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Houghington throws a big elbow that misses. Blevins can't keep his opponent in guard - Houghington advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Blevins has his hands clasped together around Houghington's back. He's all about the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Houghington is trying to control. Blevins wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Chase Blevins will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Houghington shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blevins as he avoids it easily. Blevins clinches up against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Houghington just misses with a elbow thrown towards Blevins's brow. Houghington tries for a takedown but Blevins manages to get underhooks.
Blevins wants to break free but Houghington has control.

Blevins gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Houghington.
Chase Blevins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Obedia Houghington. Houghington working hard to break the clinch. Blevins is looking for a takedown. Blevins's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Houghington tries to score a body lock takedown but Blevins shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Houghington is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right hook to the body lands for Blevins.
Blevins pulls guard. Houghington is fighting to break Blevins's control of his arms but Blevins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Blevins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Blevins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Houghington avoids the head kick by Blevins.
Obedia Houghington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Houghington tries to clinch but Blevins moves away and Blevins counters with a one-two to the body. Chase Blevins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Houghington dives in for a single leg takedown but Blevins sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blevins has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Houghington uses from the top position. Blevins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Blevins looking for a guillotine here but Houghington defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Houghington wants to control from the top but Blevins keeps moving. Blevins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Houghington off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Blevins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Houghington's waist but Houghington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blevins off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Houghington goes for a double leg but Blevins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Blevins continues to drive forward. Blevins pulls guard successfully.
Chase Blevins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Blevins keeping moving, preventing Houghington from controlling successfully. Blevins tries to land a sweep but no joy. Houghington trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Blevins manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Houghington controls Blevins momentarily but Blevins frees himself. Blevins postures up in Houghington's guard and throws a big left but Houghington blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blevins wants to pass the guard but Houghington is keeping the position. Houghington doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Blevins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Houghington is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Blevins frees his head nicely. Oh but Houghington has switched to an armbar! Blevins is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
