A fine choice. Trejo has chosen Dire Straits- Six Blade Knife as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Van Damme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Trejo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damme keeps the fight on the outside.
Trejo throws a front kick that sends Damme stumbling back into the cage.
Damme gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Trejo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Trejo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Damme paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Damme swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Trejo.
Trejo jabs Damme to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Trejo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Damme shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Trejo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Damme slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Damme keeps the fight on the outside.
Damme throws the left hand but Trejo avoids the punch easily.
Damme avoids the head kick by Trejo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Damme throws a nice inside leg kick.
Trejo tries to clinch up.
Damme cracks Trejo with a good jab.
Trejo tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Damme makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Damme jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Trejo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Trejo is rocked!
Trejo is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Damme doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Trejo crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Trejo's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Van Damme!
