Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djamel Hammouche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Senerchia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Senerchia's choice of entrance music: Can You Hear Me. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Senerchia darts in trying to clinch
and Hammouche counters with a single leg into guard. Senerchia didn't expect that.
Hammouche passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Senerchia is trying to work for a sweep but Hammouche has mounted him!
Hammouche pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hammouche avoids the attempt from Senerchia to control.
Hammouche lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Hammouche has control of Senerchia's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Senerchia regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Senerchia is in all sorts of trouble here.

Hammouche is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Senerchia to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Senerchia shrugs it off.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Senerchia can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hammouche is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Senerchia has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Senerchia tries to reverse the position but Hammouche maintains control.

Hammouche wants to finish this one by submission but Senerchia is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hammouche.
Hammouche is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Senerchia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've been hearing that Hammouche has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Hammouche is persistently looking for the submission but Senerchia is defending it well.
Senerchia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hammouche. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammouche has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Senerchia is in real trouble here. Hammouche gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Senerchia is tapping out! Hammouche wins by rear naked choke!
