Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Shaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Demi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Richard Shaffer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kris Demi!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaffer tries to clinch but Demi moves out of range.
Shaffer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Demi feints and as Shaffer raises his hands in defense, Demi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Demi trying to control but Shaffer is working from the bottom.
Demi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shaffer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Demi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Demi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Shaffer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Demi is one step ahead there.
Demi is standing up over Shaffer. Shaffer looks to escape but Demi dives into side control.
Shaffer is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Demi is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Demi cracks Shaffer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Demi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Demi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shaffer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaffer is looking to control Demi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shaffer avoid being mounted?

Demi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Shaffer is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Shaffer and Demi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Demi scores with a couple of short elbows.

Demi content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Demi scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Shaffer is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Demi can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
