The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Scott counters with a series of strikes. Andersen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Andersen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Scott counters with a nice double leg into side control. Andersen won't be happy with that.

Andersen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Scott pulls his head out easily.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Scott working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andersen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Andersen is staying active underneath Scott, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Andersen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Scott's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Scott's back!

Andersen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scott not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Andersen has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Scott. Oh but Andersen has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Scott goes limp - he's gone! Andersen jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
