Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ping Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenta Kobashi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ping Wong's chin.

3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenta Kobashi! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kobashi tries to close the distance and clinch but Wong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wong swats away the attempt to clinch by Kobashi. Kobashi lands a nice shot to the body.

Kobashi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wong kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Wong controlling the pace for now. That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kobashi is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Wong is staying active. A nice elbow there by Wong. Wong controlling his opponent. Kobashi is trying desperately to improve position. Kobashi tries to lock up and control but Wong gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kobashi has eaten all the pies! Kobashi swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Kobashi tries to hold on but Wong pushes him away. Kobashi reaches up to try and control the position but Wong seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Kobashi rolls and tries to escape and now Wong has his back!
Wong is not going to allow Kobashi to sit and survive in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kenta Kobashi just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wong circles away from the clinch attempt and Wong counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kobashi doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Wong slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Wong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wong is breathing heavily. Wong stopping the sweep attempt from Kobashi. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kobashi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that's the end of the fight! Ping Wong showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wong, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
