Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poulain dodges the punch combination from Martin.
Martin loads up on a big right hand but Poulain slips the punch.
Martin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Martin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Martin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Poulain sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Martin.
A solid leg kick lands there for Poulain.

Poulain blocks a low kick nicely.

Poulain shoots in for a double leg but Martin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Martin tries to sprawl but Poulain drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Poulain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Amelie Poulain will probably get the nod.

Keith Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Poulain misses with a hook. Martin ducked under it nicely.

Poulain closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Martin's guard.
Poulain cracks Martin with a solid left hand.
Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poulain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Martin wants to sweep here but Poulain controlling him for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Poulain.
Poulain is keen to just control but Martin is a slippery customer.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Amelie Poulain wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The cut above Keith Martin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Amelie Poulain overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Keith Martin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Keith Martin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
