The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Zubar. Santana does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zubar has managed to clinch.
Zubar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Santana.
Santana slips under a jab from Zubar.
Zubar misses with a looping right.
Zubar connects with a crisp jab.
Santana goes for a double leg but Zubar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zubar continues to drive forward.
Santana decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santana has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zubar doesn't defend quickly enough and Santana has managed to lock this one up! Can Zubar escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Santana on a fantastic submission victory.
