Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Bowman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyagi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Miyagi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Miyagi tries to score a body lock takedown but Bowman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bowman is trying to stall.
Bowman drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miyagi pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bowman swats away the attempt to clinch by Miyagi.

Bowman moves into range and clinches up with Miyagi.

Bowman manages to break the clinch.
Bowman swats away the attempt to clinch by Miyagi.
Miyagi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bowman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Miyagi tries to clinch up but Bowman circles away and keeps his distance.

Bowman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miyagi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bowman slows the pace down.
Bowman tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Bowman content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Miyagi is trying to improve his position.

Bowman looks up at the clock and then as Miyagi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bowman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Miyagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bowman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Bowman wants to control but Miyagi is keeping him busy.
Miyagi looking for a sweep but Bowman has passed into full mount! Oh no!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miyagi is squirming around, avoiding Bowman's attempts to control the action.
Bowman tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bowman wants to control the pace but Miyagi is squirming around nicely.
Bowman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bowman is really struggling to control Miyagi but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Eddy Bowman just wasn't active enough.
Bowman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miyagi circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bowman throws a head kick that misses.
Bowman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Miyagi defends well and Bowman ends up having to push Miyagi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddy Bowman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bowman pulls guard effortlessly.

Bowman is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Miyagi rolls with it to try and escape but Bowman cranks on the arm and Miyagi is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Eddy Bowman!
