Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pit Bull! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Evans. Evans clinches up with Bull and pushes him back against the cage. Bull tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bull can't find room to land a body shot as Evans controls the action.
Bull looking to throw knees to the head but Evans is blocking nicely.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Bull successfully pulls guard.

Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Bull is retaining full guard. Evans seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kareem Evans. Evans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Evans closes the distance and clinches. Evans misses with a knee to the head. Evans turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Evans trying to control the position but Bull is working away. Evans throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Evans has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Evans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bull keeps working. Bull tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Evans wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Evans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bull is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Evans working the ground and pound from side control. Evans thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bull tries to bench press Evans off him but Evans keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Evans wants to stand but Bull has his arm trapped. Bull being controlled for a moment. Bull is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Evans is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans looking to control and managing it successfully. Evans is in the full mount, landing strikes. Evans landing shots from mount. Bull sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Evans tries to pass to full mount but Bull defends it. Evans is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bull trying to control from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Evans in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evans is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bull sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Evans swats away the attempt to clinch by Bull. Bull tries to close the distance and clinch but Evans swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kareem Evans is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bull wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Evans fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Evans. Bull misses with a wild body shot. Evans leaves Bull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Evans tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bull manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Evans trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bull fails to land the takedown. Kareem Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pit Bull. Evans shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bull napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bull is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bull tries to bench press Evans off him but Evans keeps the position. Evans has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Bull! BOOM! Evans connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Evans sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Bull tries to lock up and control but Evans gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Evans controlling from the full mount. Evans working for a submission but Bull is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bull to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bull shrugs it off. Evans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Evans trying to control but he's not successful this time. Evans looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bull is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kareem Evans dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Evans throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bull was covering up waiting for the punch and Evans finishes the takedown easily into guard. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Bull is retaining full guard. Kareem Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bull working a defensive guard here.

Evans wants to stand but Bull is controlling his posture from full guard. Evans stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bull swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull wants to sweep here but Evans controlling him for the moment. Bull has a closed guard, preventing Evans from standing up. Bull wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Evans is now in half guard. Bull trying to control but Evans postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans is figuring out what he wants to do next. Evans is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bull looks like he's trying to stand up.

Evans is nestled in close to Bull, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Bull trying to control here.
Bull takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Evans controlling the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Evans moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bull has a takedown stuffed. Evans fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bull tries to clinch up but Evans circles away and keeps his distance. Evans darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Bull tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control. Evans seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that's the end of the fight! Kareem Evans showed his dominance in that final round. Well Evans has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
